The Alamogordo Recreation Center realizes that many area families are choosing to homeschool their children and we are committed to offering programs to meet those needs, whether by helping kids get active or learn a skill.
Homeschool PE Series
The series will offer a variety of PE/sports topics over the course of the school year, focusing on a different topic each month for 2-3 weeks. Children will learn the basic rules of the games and the skills needed to play while being active and interacting with other children their age! Please bring your child prepared to participate in appropriate athletic attire, including closed-toed athletic shoes and a water bottle. Parents will be notified at the time of registration if other equipment is needed for a specific topic.

Art Lessons for Homeschoolers
Taught by an experienced artist, you will understand how different art tools are made and how to use them with numerous techniques so you can go home and create your own masterpieces!
