The Alamogordo Parks & Recreation Department is proud to offer an adopt-a-spot signage program to organizations that have committed to keeping their adopted spot clean and litter-free.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for a recognition sign, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Conduct a minimum of two (2) cleanup events within six (6) months of their adoption date.
- Submit a completed event report after every cleanup event. Event reports can be submitted online or through the mail using the provided form.
- After a minimum of 6 months of active participation, participants must submit a formal application requesting a sign at their location.

The program offers three levels of signage, based on the number of years the organization has maintained the spot:
Bronze Level (1 - 3 Years): | Silver Level (3 - 5 Years): | Gold Level (5+ Years): |
Metal Sign with the Organization's Name | Larger Metal Sign with the Organization's Name | Large, metal sign with the organization's name, the date the spot was adopted, and a thank-you message from the city. |
